REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
Reporting to the EVP of Sales a successful candidate based in Los Angeles, CA will be responsible for developing the Company's recently launched Beverage line within the West Coast, and growing Nationally.
Execute company sales strategies
Achieve established quota in assigned territory by identifying and closing business opportunities through territory management target account prospecting
Develop business relationships by understanding customer business needs and helping them achieve their yearly business objectives
Maintain effective relationships with established customers
Conduct face to face meetings with customers and prospects, providing effective presentations/proposals to prospective customers
Responsible for selling full beverage product line by thoroughly assessing the customers needs presenting appropriate solutions
Maintain thorough knowledge of product technology and industry trends
Provide management team with accurate and timely reporting of activities including weekly and monthly sales forecasts, the status of the pipeline results and of prospecting activities
Support with the organization and execution of distributor & key account local shows and events
Assist in recruiting and interviewing potential technical educators (bartenders) whenever requested by direct supervisor
Skills and Requirements:
3-5 years of Business Development/Sales experience in Beverage Sector
Ability to travel up to 50%
Strong analytical, leadership and communications skills to confidently explain information and converse with customers
On behalf of our client, an Italian producer of select premium food products, In Job New York is looking for an EASTERN REGIONAL SALES MANAGER Reporting to the President, a successful candidate based in the New York Tri-State Area will be responsible for managing and growing sales as per distributer and retail chain plans for the East Coast. Main Responsibilities: - Manage broker network, monitoring results and fostering long term relationships - Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to ensure long-term success, identifying and addressing their specific needs - Act as liaison between customers and internal team to ensure client requirements are met - Identify and attract strategic clients - Ensure brand consistency - Negotiate contracts - Collect and analyze sales data and trends - Maintain excellent customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards - Stay up-to-date with internal and external market developments and trends and suggest new ways to increase sales Requirements: - Minimum 5 years' experience in sales driven role in Food & Beverage sector, preferably specialty foods - Comprehensive knowledge of US Distribution mechanisms - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred - In depth understanding of sales performance metrics - Excellent analytical and organizational skills - Experience working for a multi-national company is a plus - Travel up to 25% required (outside of the New York Tri-State Area) - Must own a car We Offer: - Competitive compensation and benefits package - Full time, Permanent Position We are an equal opportunity employer
